When is Black Friday in USA

If there’s the one thing United states planners fear, it is that some body, sometime, somewhere, won’t manage to instantly find a parking area. Gigantic guides have been devoted to avoiding this “problem, ” and laws and regulations are passed in almost every neighborhood in the country to make sure that no-one ever does not have for parking.

Chuck Marohn at intense Towns started a nifty little, crowd-sourced image collection showing just how ridiculous the fixation with parking building happens to be: images of retail parking lots on Black Friday, one of several busiest shopping days of the year. We’ve built so much parking that a lot of areas stay unused even though need are at its top.

For the final couple of years, Marohn has urged individuals to take photographs of half-empty Ebony Friday parking lots and tag all of them on Twitter using hashtag #blackfridayparking. Here’s what they turned up last week.

Marohn himself snapped this Target parking lot (presumably someplace near their home town of Brainerd, Minnesota), which at 75 per cent occupancy, had been in fact much more full than most another lots he photographed.
