MODESTO - As dusk hit Beyer Park in Modesto, cellular phone footage revealed someone dressed up in a black colored gown with bright red locks - what many call a creep clown and just what many said is an unwelcome picture.

Steven Bettencourt spoke to FOX40 on Tuesday mid-day. He claimed that he saw the clown on Monday night.

“Someone pointed it, therefore we had been like, ‘Oh my God. Look at that!'” Bettencourt said.

He stated people chased the clown out from the playground.

The costumed mystery has-been spotted throughout the area, with reported sightings in Fairfield, Elk Grove, Woodland and throughout Modesto.

“People are only trying to be funny, ” Modesto resident Anthony Acosta stated.

A photograph by Danielle Kiser was in fact making the rounds on Twitter.

Kiser advertised she saw a red haired clown at Vintage Faire Mall on Monday afternoon, standing correct close to the woman friend’s car.

The Modesto Police Department stated they’ve taken care of immediately several reports of clown sightings.

Whilst the clowns have actually alarmed some, “I would have processed just what I’m viewing, then I’d book it!” Modesto resident Cassidy Peacock stated.
